When does the course begin?

The Trauma Therapy Training Course is provided quarterly. We are currently taking clinicians for the cohort beginning in January 2023.

How much does the course cost?

The total cost for the 6 week course- including recorded lectures, live group consultation, live individual consultation, on-demand support from Dr. Stephanie Sacks and numerous resources, interventions and handouts- is $3,000.

Do you offer payment plans?

We do not offer payment plans at this time.

Can I get Continuing Education (CEs) credits for this course or do I obtain any certifications?

No, you will not receive continuing education credits for this course and will not receive a certification upon completion of this course.

If I can’t make it to group consultations, will those sessions be recorded?

Group consultation sessions will not be recorded. Live group consultation is an essential component of the Trauma Therapy Training Course. Much of the learning and consolidating of information occurs in these consultation groups.

Will I have access to Dr. Stephanie Sacks outside of the individual and group consultations?

Absolutely! You will have access to Stephanie for the duration of the 6 week course for any and all of your clinical questions.

Will I get training on doing trauma work with children?

While the course will cover assessment and conceptualization of clients whose traumatic events occurred in childhood, the focus of this course is on providing clinical care to adults.

I don’t have clients with significant trauma on my caseload currently – is this still a good course for me to take?

It depends. This course is heavily geared for clinicians who are actively working with clients with trauma-related difficulties. However, even if you don’t have clients with trauma or PTSD on your caseload now, but you anticipate that would change for any reason (e.g. an upcoming job change, new referral source), this course could be a good fit.
